Prepare For The Worse, but Act Now

Every week in the past ten months has resulted in one crisis after another. I could recite hundreds of stories to illustrate the condition of our nation. Instead consider that just in the past week we have heard news from some news agencies, but rarely from the mainstream media that a United States Senator has publicly bragged about selling her vote in the health care debate for not the reported 100 but 300 million dollars. She admits to being a political whore, but only a very high priced one. I hope her constituents in Louisiana kick her to the curb in the next election. Anything else would be public suicide.

We have seen three Navy Seals brought up on assault charges while capturing one of the most wanted terrorists in Iraq. The prisoner received a fat lip during his arrest, this after having hung his victims from a bridge. Just a few years ago, one of the most senior Democrats in the House of Representatives publicly declared three Marines cold blooded murderers for their actions in Iraq. When they were later acquitted of all charges, Congressman Murtha made no apology to the soldiers, or to the nation. This is likely the most corrupt politician in this nation's history, and yet the voters in his district of PA keep reelecting him every two years. Not one lesson was learned from this travesty. These three Seals will be acquitted as well, and yet the PC progressive police will continue their public flogging of anyone who does what is right, while championing those who are the antithesis of all that was once considered great about our country.....Honor, Duty, Commitment, Entrepreneurial spirit, hard work, success, wealth, courage, and personal responsibility, just to name a few!

We have seen evidence that some of the most public of the scientists who decry human Co2 emissions have been manipulating the data to support their conclusions, while conspiring to marginalize those scientists who dare point out inconsistencies in their conclusions. The mainstream media has not run the story, or any of thousands of emails proving the collusion of the global warming geeks. This is not a new pattern. The mainstream media has ignored every major story Fox runs, at least until the very conclusion, when a communist resigns from the White House as example.

In fact the global warming farce is much worse than just that. We are allowing the progressives to convince the governments of the world to punitively tax businesses and citizens for the very thing that gives life to the plants on our Earth, and as a result, our oxygen. I mean, I am no climatologist, not even a scientist, but I solve problems for a living, and this one is a no brainer. If the substance we exhale was poisoning our Earth, mammals would have rendered this planet dead thousands of years ago. It is just common sense. Some of the same progressives pushing the global warming theory today were preaching a second ice age just 30 some odd years ago, and using the same arguments in reverse.

Our Commander in Chief has taken three months to consider his hand picked general's request for additional troops to win a war in Afghanistan. He can decide overnight to pass a $787 billion Stimulus bill, which was actually the liberal Congress on a spending spree to celebrate their majority status, while our country is drowning itself in debt, citizens are losing their jobs, their homes, and 401ks have been decimated. He hasn't announced his decision yet, but he has leaked all of the details out to run a war tax up the flagpole to gauge the resistance in public opinion polls before he actually tells the public anything directly.

Our president has continued his world wide apology tour in Asia, while bowing from the waist ninety degrees in deference to other world leaders. We have elected a man who detests everything we stand for. What in the name of God possessed us to elect this man to the most powerful position in the world? If Congress sends him a Cap and Trade bill or a health care bill to sign, either of which will fundamentally change the economy of our country, he will sign in hours.

The short answer is the press. It has been called a slobbering love affair between Obama and the mainstream media, and I agree with the assessment. The same media is ignoring the news that would shine the light of day on what is happening in our country. That is, all but Fox, a few conservative internet sites, and one or two newspapers that can still be considered journalists. In all fairness, the NY Times did run part of the Global Warming story, but refused to print any of the correspondence because it was not meant for public disclosure. This is the same news agency that has printed CIA methods, in the middle of a War, among so many stories that could well be considered treason.

The founding fathers feared this very situation more than any other short of monarchy. They therefore set up checks and balances within the three branches of government, but just in case, they gave the press the freedom to challenge the government at every corner, believing this would be enough to deter ruling conditions, such as we are experiencing now. As history evolved, the press all came into lockstep with the progressives, and now the democratic party. They are now in total control. Even the moderate democrats cannot fend off the pressure of this administration along with Congressional leadership. They fear other politicians more than they fear the people of this county. Thomas Jefferson warned us, and gave guidance. It is time to listen to Mr. Jefferson. Our politicians have become the ruling class and we the serfs.

They will destroy our country. They will take our freedoms away, our liberty will be stripped from us every one. They will do so a little at a time, starting with the rich, but it will not end there. Just consider how much has happened in the 10 months of the 111th Congress and the present administration. Think about where we are today, and where we are headed. The debt is unsustainable. If all the profits from every Fortune 500 Company, using last years numbers, were confiscated every year and paid on the national debt, we would pay off the principal in 100 years, but not the interest. By inserting interest on the debt into the same equation we would never pay off the debt and unfunded liabilities, even if we balanced every year's budget going forward. Bush did much to set us on this path by forsaking the principals of fiscal conservatism, but it is exploding now by comparison to even Mr. Bush. If you believe nothing else, know this, we are on the precipice of collapse.

Prepare for the worse. There are many things you can do to brace for the storm, but none are fool proof. Get out of debt, no matter what you have to do. Stop buying anything you do not absolutely have to have. Sell anything you do not own outright. Pull your extended families together into one household where practical. Prepare to protect yourself, you will be confronted by criminals, when people get hungry. Convert your assets into tangible items. Gold, silver, and anything you can barter with when the monetary system collapses, because make no mistake, we are headlong into a total collapse. Obama is taking us there as quickly as possible. He knows he will never be elected again, but if there exists a national emergency, he might just pull off a coup and remain in power until the crisis passes.

We have one chance and one chance only. Vote every democrat in Congress out of office in 2010. It is our last chance before a total failure in America. I believe we will come out the other end of this stronger, but either way, many sacrifices, and a lot of very bad times lay ahead if we do not take our government back now.
