North Korea

We have so many domestic issues we are focusing our attention on right now. We can only imagine what President Obama does on a daily basis. He can't get legislation introduced changing the entire American economy, health care, energy policy, education, and run two wars without working very very hard.

How then can he have the time to devote enough energy to deal with North Korea and Kim Jung Il, possibly the worlds most insane leader in history. We have no idea what this tyrant has inflicted on the population of North Korea. We only hear the tirades, as the media sees fit to share with us when he gets abnormally out of control. There are so many news stories about what this crazy man has said, the threats he is issuing, and he has gotten away with this for years. He has now decided to wipe the US off the globe once and for all. He is going to send a nuclear bomb to Hawaii on the 4th of July. For the most part, the media treats him like an old crazy person who shoots off a gun out the back of his house a few times a year, but doesn't really ever hurt anyone.

Obama has proved to be frightfully thin skinned, even though he has received virtually no criticism from anyone other than Fox. He makes it a point to bring that up every chance he gets. If Bush had allowed the media to get under his skin like this, the man would have been a lunatic over his eight years of constant berating by the liberal media. He was a cowboy, no question, but Kim Jung Il would never had dared to make these threats with him as president. And what if Ronald Reagan were still here? Do you think his 26 year old son would survive to take over for him? I don't!

Obama is being humiliated by this crazy man. I just don't believe he is going to be able to take it much longer. The criticism he is getting will likely result in his making a very noisy response at some point. Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing him send one of those smart bombs down on the top of that long range missile on its launch pad, but that could result in a nuclear response from this guy. He could do a lot of damage to South Korea, perhaps even Japan. If he lives much longer with Obama as our leader, we are headed for a showdown, that is much is certain. Will Obama keep his head? That is hard to say. Thus far, he has not shown the stones to respond strongly, but I find it hard to believe it's because he lacks nerve. I think he really just believes in his own personal persuasion capabilities more than he believes he needs to act forcefully. I think he is very capable of being ruthless, if he believes it is necessary

At some point, his ego is bound to get in the way. Once that happens, and he does take action against this tyrant, I fear he will go over the top, and thus we will find ourselves in three wars. God knows we can't afford another one. If it happens, will Obama do to Pyongyang, what Bush did to Baghdad? I don' think so. I predict Obama will believe one single strike will cause Kim to back down, but the man is nuts. He will stop at nothing once provoked. He would sacrifice every drop of North Korean blood before being cowered by any other world leader, other than the Chinese mainland.

We have so much to think about at home, we are forgetting about this guy. I wish we had a better feel for how Obama is handling this behind the scenes. If he isn't doing everything possible to force China to take action behind the scenes, we are in for some very hard times on that front eventually.
